Providing public services and maintaining public infrastructure for our community and visitors because, we work for you!
First and foremost, Public Works is focused on providing safe reliable services which include: water, sewer, storm, streets, parks, cemetery, levee and airport.  We also assist in the maintenance of the city hall, library, fire department and police department facilities.
We have well-trained staff members that can handle just about any problem in any department.  We pride ourselves in our training and cross-training efforts.  We continue to look for better efficiencies and improvements to assist us in the delivery of public services.
